Equipment management

Brush cutters, plate compactors, chainsaws, spreaders, batteries: equipment is managed like vehicles — with inventory number, history, issue to people, defects and inspection dates.

Inventory number Your own scheme
Label Printable
Issue With return monitoring
Permissions Separate from vehicles

Not everything in the yard has a licence plate

Equipment management is deliberately a separate area next to the fleet: issuing small equipment should not require access to vehicles. Inventory numbers follow your own scheme, labels can be printed, and every device carries its own history.

What it does

What the module actually does

Device master with inventory number

Number ranges to your scheme, lookup by inventory number and a printable label per device.

Issue and return

Issue devices to staff, record returns and see overdue returns on the dashboard.

Record defects

Document defects with severity and status so faulty equipment is not issued again.

Battery management

Batteries as first-class objects with chemistry and condition — wear parts that usually stay entirely undocumented.

Your own master data

Device types, manufacturers and locations are maintained by you and match your organization.

Decommission instead of delete

Retired devices are decommissioned and can be reactivated; the history is preserved.

Frequently asked questions

Because rights, master data and processes differ. A storekeeper should be able to issue small equipment without access to the vehicle fleet — which is why device permissions are deliberately separate from vehicle permissions.

Yes. Issue and return are dedicated operations; the dashboard shows issued devices and overdue returns.

Equipment management handles individually identifiable devices. Warehouse management handles quantities: spare parts, consumables, supplies. Both come together in stocktaking.
